Video creatives hosted by The Trade Desk can be up to
200MB.
Duration
Video must be greater than or equal to 5s and less than or
equal to 300s (5 minutes)
Aspect Ratio
• Landscape/horizontal videos must have an aspect ratio of
16:9 (for example, 640 × 360 or 1920x1080) or 4:3 (for
example, 640 × 480).
• Portrait/vertical videos must have an aspect ratio of 9:16
(for example, 360 × 640) or 3:4 (for example, 480 × 640).
Other Considerations
Click - through URL Field
Make sure the creative has a click - through
URL specified, this is a required field. If you
are using a click tracker with this creative,
enter it in this field.
Third - party VAST tags
The Trade Desk requires at least one of the
following media types: MP4, FLV, VPAID 1.0,
or VPAID 2.0 Flash.
In addition to any required VPAID asset, .MP4,
WEBM, and FLV media assets recommended.
Viewability on third - party
video
The Trade Desk supports Moat , IAS , and
DoubleVerify . With integrated reporting
enabled, you will not need to add a VPAID
asset or have your VAST wrapped by the 3p
viewability vendor.
